Review on 🥬 Chef'n SleekSlice Collapsible Hand-Held Mandoline Slicer (Arugula) by Rich Fiedler

We are very satisfied with the performance of this slicer; After almost a year of use, we noticed a buildup of substance between the blade and the body of the mandolin on the underside. It's discoloring (brownish) and making us think about stopping using the slicer. The blade is riveted to the body and obviously food debris can get into the resulting gap, even though it's small. We don't have a dishwasher and that might make a difference. We love the results of use and don't want to downgrade, but the obvious potential for bacterial growth makes us wonder. Accordingly 4 stars.
