🥬 Chef'n SleekSlice Collapsible Hand-Held Mandoline Slicer (Arugula) Review

We love Chef'n products and bought a whole box of kitchen gadgets. This food slicer has helped me reduce prep time when preparing large meals for my family. I like its compactness and the ability to easily adjust the cutting width. Definitely recommend.

I bought one of these mandolins, used it once, turned it around and bought one for each family member for Christmas. Love. That. The shops are flat. Easy to use. Bought this cutting machine again. The product sent to me does not match the photos or what I previously bought. Big, bulky, won't fold. boo

We are very satisfied with the performance of this slicer; After almost a year of use, we noticed a buildup of substance between the blade and the body of the mandolin on the underside. It's discoloring (brownish) and making us think about stopping using the slicer. The blade is riveted to the body and obviously food debris can get into the resulting gap, even though it's small. We don't have a dishwasher and that might make a difference. We love the results of use and don't want to downgrade…

This is perfect for my needs. I use it to make homemade fries and it works great with potatoes, sweet potatoes, apples, and pears. It also managed my thumb well, so it's sharp enough and stays that way. Some people say the finger guard doesn't grab food, but I haven't had that experience.
