I did not accidentally (and definitely not intentionally) drop test my desk to verify the integrity of this case, but it looks like the device will protect against a typical drop. The suitcase fits perfectly, although it would have been nice if the instructions on how to open the suitcase weren't included in the suitcase on arrival. It's not very helpful :-) Can't add anything to the other positive reviews. The case is robust, the tablet's buttons all work, the cameras are not covered. It's a simple device that does what it's designed to do. I have a very small problem. When I need to touch an icon on the screen near a corner, I have to press hard for the tablet to see the touch. I *think* the screen protector floats a bit, but so far it hasn't been a problem for me. It seems that this condition usually occurs when trying to close unwanted ads when the ad is specifically designed to place an X as close to a corner as possible. I would recommend this case.
