In my opinion. This is a very bad power supply. As with other Revain reviewers, this PSU does not "have" a fan as advertised. This, I think, starts the problem. During use, I couldn't get it to work reliably with currents in excess of 0.6 amps. Even at only 0.6 amps, the device was almost hot (you could smell it) at the rear heatsink/power transistor and the back of the case. The readings fluctuate and the device eventually shuts down at high temperatures. It wasn't long in coming. I would not use this power supply for current draws. In my version, this is a fire waiting in the wings. Also, the performance indicators were embarrassing. Maybe it would be better if it had a fan as advertised. I returned this power supply from Revain. Then I ordered a Mr. Gauge PS-305DM from Revain (see my review). Mr. Meter is a much better buy.
