Review on Oakton EcoTestr pH 2+ Pocket pH Meter - 1 pack - AO-35423-01 by Alyssa Grinager

I have an older version and need a newer one for working with anthocyanins. It's a good unit and a bit more visible, but not that much. It displays pH and temperature. You will need to remove and replace the batteries to ensure it turns on. The lid is slightly better than the old one and has a spirit level for pouring out calibration liquids. Calibration on the old one was normal and easy, 4, 7, 10 pH. This one is a little more difficult. Never tells you it's done. If calibrated at pH 10 it will not exceed 9.8 and at 4 it will not fall below 4.1. So I would be concerned about the calibration. I didn't have it on an older version. I've used them consistently and they seem to be constant for +/- 0.1 pH. Overall it's good, but I don't see much difference from the older version and the calibration issue is an issue.
