Review on TZe 231 Standard Laminated Compatible PT 1230PC by Jeremy Hudson

For the price maybe a good buy. The price aspect works well. It doesn't seem any worse than the original. Can't comment on the durability of the glue or the tape in general yet as I've only used it a couple of times (maybe 10) over the course of a month. That's why there are only three stars: * The tape got stuck in the car a couple of times. Well, three times so far. From maybe 10 labels. That's 30% of the problems. It's easy enough to clean. But it wastes a bit of ribbon. However, this waste is worth the price. But it's annoying. I don't think I've ever had a jam with the original tape in hundreds or more uses over the course of several years. Not so hot what's up. And maybe even more because it just feels a little bit different, not worse. That's the problem. It's likely that this tape is a bit thinner, causing the machine to chew it up a bit at times. But at a much, much lower price (as long as the band lasts) it will still be worth it. (Because a small amount of tape waste doesn't come close to equal paying the full cost.)
