So coming from IT I wasn’t expecting my internet speeds to change since I had a cat5 Ethernet cable and it’s able to push out 1 gigabyte connection. The cat8 Ethernet cable should be used if you have a higher connection speed than 1 gigabyte or if you plan on upgrading from a really old Ethernet cable. As for me I was planning on upgrading my internet speed eventually so it made sense. As for this cable it does what it should. Cable thinkness is great. Had no problems. Speeds are just a tad better than what my old Ethernet cable was pushing out which was to be expected. Great for gaming and other activities needed for internet. I’d say this is a great product and works as it’s intended.
