One day in the sun and the entire inside of the spout was covered with black mold, the inner cylinder (difficult to clean) had black spots, the bottom of the tank (extremely difficult to clean ) had both red scales and black mold, should have taken a photo but I was too disgusted. I made the mistake of opening the blinds in my son's room and after half a day there was grey/black mold inside. Spout and small cage and the bottom of the bowl. This thing is very painful to clean. You'll need cotton swabs, cotton balls, folded paper towels, and a washcloth to make this all work. A small bottle brush or pipe cleaner will also help.
