The bulbs came in reliable packaging, none of them broke. The glass is strong. Doesn't break easily and lasts a long time. If you can love a lightbulb, I love it. They are ideal for those of us who are older and/or have poor vision in low light. Without the higher power I could not read. This allows me to read at higher power and then turn off the bulb when the extra light isn't needed. These lamps exceed the recommended wattage for most household lamps. After 2-3 years, the connection in the socket burns out. The socket is not expensive and relatively easy to change. As a precaution, I do not recommend leaving lamps with higher wattage for long periods of time. I also never leave lightbulbs on when I'm not sleeping or at home. This is how I have been dealing with home lighting without any problems for more than 10 years.
