Update: I like the bike a lot, but customer service is beyond horrific. I had a small plastic piece that I noticed was broken and would like to get a replacement since it came like that. It probably costs 3 dollars to replace. After 7 emails, I'm still not getting an answer. I'm starting to think their customer service is nothing more than a chatbot. I've reduced my rating from 5 to 3 and if it's not resolved by Friday, it will be further reduced to 1.Update Number 2: Same runaround answer from their so called "customer service". It's apparently a chatbot. Review reduced to 1 star. The bike itself isn't bad, but if you need anything, or if something breaks or you need a replacement part, you're on your own. Maybe the worst customer service I've ever run into. It's non existent. Pitiful.I ordered this bike on a Sunday and it shipped that night, receiving it on Wednesday the same week. Putting it together is not difficult although the manual is kind of worthless. It took about 2 hours, mainly just adjusting the location of all the controls, display, and headlight to where I was comfortable. The battery charged in about 3 hours to 100% so off I went on my first ride. Wow is all I can say! It's much more powerful than I ever imagined and took my 180 pound body easily up some hills that I thought it would never make. It's solidly built and although I'm going to change the slimline seat on it, it's features more than justify the price. The best feature of all is the cruise control! It's not explained in the manual how to use it, as well as most of the features it has, but there are tons of videos on youtube that explain how to program the S830 display. Mine came showing everything in kilometers, but it's easily changed to miles as explained in those videos. I rode a total of 17 miles today, 2/3 of that in throttle only with about 1/3 in Pedal Assist and have 70% battery left! All in all, I'm very satisfied, especially at this price point. I rode it briefly as a bicycle only while I waited for the battery to charge, and it is a good bike without the motor even! It's also a great looking bike! I would definitely recommend this bike to someone wanting not to spend a fortune on an ebike. One caveat: Change the tires and/or tubes right away as the ones they come with are very thin and cheap and you WILL get flats. Two flats in two days for me. I had them on order already so I will change them as soon as I get them. You have to do that on almost any bike however unless it's a high end bike with expensive tires and tubes. Come on GoTrax! Spend a few dollars and upgrade those tires and tubes!
