I already have a ton of Tuya Universe products so I tested this scale for compatibility with the Smart Life app and it was a winner. The Smart Life app finds this scale and adds it easily. The scale works much better than the Yunmai I've been using for 8 years. My old scale was bluetooth and I was constantly struggling to get the bluetooth connection to work. No longer! Direct WLAN from the scale to the cloud. TO WIN! The scale display is completely black until the weight is displayed. Easy to read during the day and in the dark. It takes a few seconds for the flashing to stop, during which time it is taking body fat and other readings with the foot pads. At the end, a tiny WiFi logo will appear and the data will be sent to the cloud. I use the scale with only one user (me) and all data is immediately added to my profile on Smart Life. I have linked my Smart Life profile to Google Fit without any problems and my daily weight is displayed without any action on my part. There is only weight, no other data like body fat. Smart Life can link weight data to FitBit. I couldn't get it to work. I'll probably switch to the app suggested by the scale to see if it's different, but that's unlikely since Tuya rebrands those apps. One thing about the Smart Life app and this scale is that the font is really tiny. I need reading glasses to see what is written. The numbers are big enough. In terms of accuracy, the weight is about 0.5 pounds heavier than my Yunmai scale. Fat was weird a few times. For several days it fluctuated between 12% and 19%. Yunmai constantly tracks my body fat percentage between 18% and 19%. I won't blame this scale because regular body fat measurements are largely based on routine. Certainly, my approach to this scale was initially somewhat inconsistent, which would probably have led to deviations. I like the ease of the Wi-Fi connectivity. The time savings I get from my morning routine is real and measurable. It's a blessing not to have to open an app and wait for a Bluetooth connection. I think it's a 5 star scale because of how easy it is to pair with Smart Life, how easy it is to connect to the 2.4GHz WiFi that's in multiple rooms, and how pretty it looks. Those are very good weights. If you travel and like to weigh yourself, this scale is lightweight and much smaller than the Yunmai.
