I purchased this item to use to apply Weiman Hardwood Polish & Restorer. This kit was recommended for this use. The kit arrived yesterday and I was dying to get the job done. When I started polishing, I found that the telescopic handle would not stand still. Then I noticed that the green ring/tape that tightened the handle was torn and therefore would not tighten. Since I had already picked up all the furniture in the house to apply the varnish, I had no choice but to continue working. I used tape around the green plastic ring but it didn't work. I had to manually hold the handle on both sections, which wasn't easy. I believe this part of the handle should be replaced free of charge for me.
