We had a friend turned us onto this. We live in the north, and it gets very dark very early this time of year. In the morning, we turn the light on and use it for 15 minutes. It stops the production of melatonin and increases the production of serotonin. It is a huge relief to seasonal depression. If you suffer from SAD, you need this.
