I hate to write negative reviews and it's rare, but this one should be written as it is deemed medically necessary. I've been wearing compression stockings for years and can't find my usual brand at Revain. They looked pretty interesting and the reviews were good, so I ordered them. The first thing to note is that this is such a heavy fabric that they look like they came off a knitting machine. You will never wear them with a skirt or dress - my grandmother had to use this style. There are many more brands that have the same support but are much more attractive/transparent. Due to the size of the calf I need a very large one. The legs were huge. I had to double them under my feet when putting them on. I wear a size 9 and had to deal with the extra 3 inches. The compression was good. The length was also too long. I was able to pull them up to mid-knee. This means they then roll and cause a lot of discomfort in the squat. The concept of these socks is good, but the execution is not that good. The price was of course the best, but remember what your mother said to you: you get what you pay for.
