I got this as an extra security measure and am very happy about it. We don't have a garage and I didn't want the neighbor's cats jumping around at night, misbehaving, or getting comfy, and I found that it actually doubled my worries about people messing around with my Jeep. Keep in mind that this will NOT work on your softop. So you need to roll it up or remove it. And like many others I never put it in my bag again, but the bag was redesigned for tools and I was able to easily find a beach bag to stash while it was off. The quality is excellent, fits perfectly, easy to install. and detachable (if you're thinking of folding it in the process) and definitely waterproof (I put it on and fold the pieces back so I can wash the jeep without having to worry about washing the interior). I use this in addition to someone else's sun visor and it definitely makes it easier to fold and eliminates the slight sagging in the front part that comes from washing or rain. *****Helpful Hint**** To remove/store it, I leave it on the jeep, flip up the windshield and rear window section, then flip up each side of the door and rotate it front to back about 5 or 6 sections. This "taquito" if you wish is then folded in half from left to right twice (while standing in the back of the jeep). It leaves the soft side out but since I put it in my beach bag it stays clean and I can stow it in the trunk in case of unusual rain. To put it back on. just do the reverse process. (Also for those wondering why the occasional eyelet hole near the mirrors is there. It's supposed to route a safety wire!)
