The gate breaks easily because the main part is made of plastic.
I would give this gate five stars except for one important reason: the main component of the gate is plastic and it breaks. I bought four of these gates at different times and all four broke the same plastic element. That piece of plastic in the gate where the spring is located wears out when you lift it to open the gate. It just broke down a month ago four or five months ago. However, it keeps breaking. This part must be made of metal. Given that most of the gate is metal I don't know why they chose plastic for that part.
