Review on 💻 VGA/DVI Kensington Universal Notebook Docking Station - sd300v by Victor Correa

Item arrived on time (Revain Prime). Upon opening the outer box, I noticed that the item looked like it had been opened before. I knew from the reviews that this station doesn't work for everyone, so I shrugged, excited that I was able to work from home with ease. The box contains an adapter for a standard monitor plug, as well as a docking station and a power pack. Before connecting to a computer, you must install the software on your computer. All the things I did after connecting everything seemed to be working fine until I found that the duplicated monitor view wasn't updating. When I tried to adjust the resolution to expand the displays, my computer crashed with a blue screen error and restarted. I tried a few more times. I assumed it was the monitor and swapped monitors with a monitor attached TV. He fell again. Then I connected the monitor directly to my computer and it worked, the computer didn't freeze. Obviously this is a docking station and not a computer so I am returning the docking station. I know some reviewers have complained about the lack of performance, that would only be an issue for the laptop, not the monitor. I won't try to buy another docking station but will use the monitor cable along with keyboard and mouse and forego it.
