Review on ASUS WS C246M PRO: Advanced LGA1151 ECC DDR4 M.2 C246 Server Workstation Micro ATX Motherboard for 8th Gen Intel Core CPUs by Adam Browning

Workstation functions are built into this motherboard. It supports ECC memory and I'm using a Crucial ECC DIMM with an i3-9100 with ECC support. Be sure to update the BIOS for 9th Gen processors and luckily it allows you to update the BIOS without a processor with the onboard Flashback button. The board has a convenient power switch. It has a lot of features that I'll probably never use, but if I later decide to make it a Windows desktop PC or something, it has that option. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it has a long boot time due to several workstation features, but some of these can be disabled in the BIOS, making startup a bit faster. So far the build is going well and I appreciate the versatility of this board.
