Review on Blue Portable Pocket Radio with AM/FM Tuner and Integrated Speaker by Robert Abdi

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I was frustrated with the AM SRC100's poor performance and tuning wheel placement/use.

The Sylvania SRC100 is a very affordable portable radio that may catch your eye. A: It's black. It has a detachable belt clip. The quality of the headphone jack is good. FM reception was good. Analog volume control. yes it's a nice feature :) Features that could be added or improved: better tuning wheel, slightly better AM selectivity. Longer antenna. settings display. carrying strap. Overall, this is a budget radio that has a lot of competition. I would not recommend this radio to anyone knowing there is a good, reliable radio out there for $2 more. I was frustrated with the SRC100's poor AM performance and tuning wheel placement/use. Try the Kaito KA230 instead, you'll love it.
