I like the Vive but the replacement controller I bought after I broke mine (you know how TV+Fist works) only lasted about a week before it started creaking like a haunted house when I pulled on it. Deduction. That really spoils the impression. I was trying to fix the broken one because it just went into debug mode and all it really took (barring sensor issues) was pulling down on the button that slid into the case. However, after I bought Torx screws to open, I immediately stripped the screws. They're the cheapest metal I've ever seen. I could do it with my nails if they were sharp enough. In any case, I didn't expect to be able to fix this considering it's so old. I just want to be able to try. The Vive is good but could do with quality control.
