Review on 🔧 Forstner Woodworking Drill & Cut - Professional Drilling and Cutting Tool by Nale Dunn

Bought this to poke a few holes through a .75" Hackberry for my maglocks. I set the speed of my drill properly, clamped my workpiece and started drilling very slowly. After about 2 seconds I had a serious burn despite going very shallow and then picking up the drill and repeating. I successfully made a hole (although with a decent cool down for a few minutes and tried to drill a second hole. The smoke went away immediately and I gave up. The hole was barely drilled and the ground is burning and smoking. I left the drill an hour cool down and tried it in a piece of pine, same thing happened.It will come back to Amazon as defective.
