Yes as a dimmer this is a good product. But its introduction to wiring in a motor home is dubious. To use it you must have both a positive and negative signal from the LED. Think of it as a loop. You can't just take the positive (load) side of a toggle switch in an RV and find a negative or ground terminal nearby. You should find the minus of the LED you want to dim. In my case, Grand Design connected the negative wire back to the common rail on the switchboard (through the apartment building) rather than back to the control panel where the switch's positive terminal ends, so it didn't work.
