My dermatologist recommends that I use SPF-50 broad spectrum sunscreen protection. b.tan Sun Safe provides protection against burning and aging skin. This product is exactly what I need.With my extremely fair skin, I am no stranger to sunburns. I had my share when I was younger. Now I try my best to avoid the sun, get my annual skincare exams by my dermatologist, and follow my doctor's instructions. At my last exam, he said that for my age, my skin looks great. He recommends no more than SPF 50 for skincare protection. He told me that SPF 50 provides 98% protection. SPF 100 only provides 99% protection, so basically it isn't worth paying the difference.This sunscreen comes in a 7 fluid ounce tube and has naturally derived ingredients that are cruelty free and reef friendly. This product is sheer and goes on clear. It is very lightweight, and also spreads very easily. It does not leave that white film on your skin. The product has that tropical coconut fragrance, which I personally like. The product is initially rather greasy when applying it, but it dries down within 15 minutes or so.The directions are explicit about applying the product at least 15 minutes before sun exposure and then again every 80 minutes.or immediately after swimming. The product contains jojoba oil, argan oil, and vitamin C to help keep your skin healthy.I like this product and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. I especially like that it is made right here in the USA. 5 star from me!
