They cost many times cheaper than normal sensors. I used mine on a 2006 Toyota Prius. The dealer charges $200 for the sensor. I had to change all 4 tires so I decided to change all 4 sensors as well. I bought all 4 parts for about 100β¬. (Saved $700!) The tire shop I used was able to ship them for free. So far, so good. However, for some reason the tire shop couldn't get the car to learn the new sensor codes. That means the sensors were there but the tire pressure light was still on. Called the dealer and they wanted to charge $150 just to sync the sensors to the car. I politely declined and went to another tire shop where a technician could sync them in 10 minutes for a $20 tip. So it wasn't difficult for me to synchronize the sensor with the car. Although they work great they come with a good guarantee, I hope they hold up as advertised. Don't let the dealer fool you, just make sure you find a tire shop that can sync them to the car.
