It will change your life

Being able to carry 3 or 4 lamps in a shoulder bag is very good. I use YN 50 III flashes on a daily basis and this little guy can control them all from the camera very easily - this is truly one of the most useful and essential gadgets I've ever had. Price-wise, that's about 1/6 the cost of PW, and with YN heads it's much more flexible and reliable. Pairing is a PITA for the first time, but once set up the system works great. Trigger battery level, settings per device and group assignment are always visible, attachment is SECURE unlike other devices that are easily dropped or lost. It's tiny, light, strong and extremely powerful. Hundreds of thousands of images are 95% correct from the first test shot, and then it takes seconds to fine-tune and get going. A 4 light setup that works a variety of ways, ALL under 3 bills and fits easily in a shoulder bag (no stands) is a godsend. Ruined forever on YN - all my OEM lighting stays at home, and even for most studio kits, 2-3 560 IIIs and this little gem is all you need. If a particular shoot doesn't require big specific modes, then big studio lighting isn't even necessary (over 90% of the time). Built like tanks, they cost like popcorn, and day after day, set after set, they just work. I've raved about YN stuff for years and no one who's ever listened has NEVER looked back. It's just fine and easy to use. They fell down, got wet, hit, hit and berated, but they keep going. You can pay a lot more but you won't get more.
