I got these in medium. I would say they fit the average person and hairstyle. I love how they keep my hair dry. The colored(outer) layer is like a quick dry satin-ish material and the inner plastic is thicker than any cap I've had in the past. My hair doesn't get wet at all and the cap stays in place. The colors are really cute also. In a nutshell, they are cute bonnets with good plastic underneath.that hold up well and keep their shape.
