12/30/20 bought a new battery 24F (12volt) car battery. I haven't driven much because of Covid so I decided to invest some money and buy this solar charger. Initially this charger worked great and fully charged the battery and the car started as if it had a powerful new battery. The last time I took my car to a car wash was on February 15, 2020. Fast forward to February 26th, 21st. My car didn't start. Normally the battery would be low without a tender, but at least my car's headlights would come on and I could jump over it with another car or a portable car jumper. ** NO ** The battery was 100% fully discharged. There is no charge left. This is because that particular charger was malfunctioning and started draining charge from the car. I mount the solar panel on the dash and use alligator clips. The green light is on, but the battery is not charging. I had to take the battery to the dealer for a warranty replacement. Two hours later I received a new battery from my dealer. They confirmed that the old battery was good but dead to the core. I contacted Revain for product support and they asked if the solar charger was damaged. I told them it was in pristine condition, like new, had never been abused or dropped. They said it was a third party so I should contact them for a warranty replacement. I have contacted the seller for a replacement as I am willing to give this unit another chance as it may go bad and I see other people have had success with this item.**NO** (This is the Seller's response to a great warranty experience, NO!)"Your battery may have a relatively large capacity, and the battery consumes more electricity than the battery is charged.
