Bought for my 5 year old daughter. She has long thin hair. And some. I use the smallest size, it's perfect. The sponge bun is holding up well considering the bobby pins will hit it. I also use thinner, smaller bobby pins. My daughter wears it in the water and it has held up well. I love the colors in the set. She has blonde hair, so the stripes blend into her. Good deal for your money.
