Very good quality frame but some caveats and suggestions. 1) The packaging is elegant but unnecessary for mail order goods like Revain ships. Great for a retail shelf, but a brown box will be in demand when shopping online and will greatly reduce the cost of the product. 2) The blue stick-em protective tape is not easy to remove. It took almost as long to remove as it did to attach the frame/plate! 3) Attachments (and the concept as a whole) become unnecessarily complicated. Simple stainless steel screws/bolts will do, just use hex or torx sockets instead. To be honest, torx heads can look good. And not many people carry around a Torx screwdriver or Allen key to keep the anti-theft device in place. And the mounted attachment points with caps look like bolts on Frankenstein's neck. I'm just talking 4) Need some foam or tape to prevent the frame from touching the paint. My new traverse has a stupid expensive pearl white finish and the rear frame would shrink from that color. There will be scratches. I took the supplied foam insert and used it as a support pad for the rear frame. photo included. I didn't use all four screws/covers on the back but will do with that. The front panel sits on a plastic mounting frame, so don't worry about the frame scratching the paint. 5) The kit includes small plastic hex nuts for stud bolts, but they are not shown in the picture in the instructions. I know what they are for, but it would be nice to explain them to some "uninitiated" consumers. So a good product that is cheaper and easier to install.
