I like this kettle because it has a large capacity. I cook once a day and fill up the carafe to have hot water all day and this kettle does the trick. It's easy to fill thanks to the wide top opening and max fill line so I don't spill. It is easy to handle thanks to its design and impact-resistant handle. I don't have to worry about using oven mitts when it's hot. I can take it straight off the stove and pour it. Even the spout has a heat resistant patch so you don't burn yourself opening it. It whistles but very faintly so you must be in the same room or very close. In addition, thanks to the wide opening at the top, it is very easy to clean, keeping it clean and dry. I use mine on a gas range. Good choice for a new kettle.
