Review on 🏠 Dome Wireless Z-Wave Battery-Powered Home Security Siren and Chime - DMS01 (White) by Shane Jenkins

A little confused here. I bought it for my Ring Alarm System. The Ring website lists this tiny dome speaker as a compatible device, and it's even for sale on their website (although it's currently sold out). I thought I would just buy it from Revain but when I got it it didn't work at all. I was able to add it to my accounts/devices list but it didn't respond to anything. I thought Z-Wave technology was the standard used by these alarm companies, but I did a little research and found that it wasn't supported at all. They promise months of support, but Ring tends to over-promise and under-deliver. I love this company and really love their products, but they make a lot of promises and never deliver (like HomeKit support). I will not reject any product because I made a compatibility error. For what it's worth it seems like a solid product. It's tiny, can be attached anywhere and looks well built and of good quality. My friend has them for his SmartThings setup and they sound wise. While I'll be returning mine, I'll definitely take them back if Ring officially endorses them. support it. I will keep an eye on this product for now. If I ever buy it again I will update the review with new comments and thoughts.
