Our 14 year old boxer boy has IVDD and severe arthritis so he has days when he doesn't feel strength in his back legs and slips on part of our hard floor that doesn't not covered with carpets. The grip with these socks is excellent as far as we can tell. It just doesn't stay in place well and slips, so we have to adjust it quite often, even when the straps are tight. I hesitate to overtighten the straps because I don't want to cut the circuit. He doesn't need them every day but they are great for the days he needs them.
