At the current price of $14.99, this brush set comes with a large boar/nylon bristle brush with a wooden handle and a decorative floral pattern on the back, a plastic comb, and a plastic brush with metal teeth for cleaning hair off the brush. This brush went through my hair easily. The comb is a plastic comb with wide teeth that does a good job of detangling hair in the shower. The rake is useless; I haven't found one that works yet. What I absolutely hate is the smell of the brush. STINK LIKE RUBBER. This is probably the finish on the handle, but the smell is extremely objectionable to me. I will not use this brush unfortunately because of the terrible smell. I aired this set for hours and the smell didn't go away.
