UPDATE: I threw it in the trash. DO NOT BUY THIS! UPDATE: Less than two months later Wyze Cam Pan is dead. $35 disposable camera who?! I can't believe the posts complaining about the short life span until mine is dead. What a waste! I received my only Wyze Pan three days ago. It was up and running in minutes, tracking movements and sounds like a rabid dog with amazingly sharp colors. I've spent hours troubleshooting but couldn't find anything other than a loud hum from the motion tracking engine, choppy audio, and more integration with smart home products. The free cloud wasn't a myth either, capturing most of the significant movement. The micro SD memory card recorded all movements flawlessly with a practical buffer time before and after the event. So I bought 6 more and bragged about it to my friends and family. Monthly Update: Cameras just periodically power off and return error code 90 - physical power cycle required. They turn off more frequently over time and you should check them regularly, restart them, turn the device on and off and check that they are plugged in. I'm demoting her to one star. What to do when you're out of town? These aren't "set and forget" devices - they add to the worries of travel - pets, houseplants, lights and finally those cameras. I would return them if I could.
