Review on 🧡 Omnigrid Fold-Away Cutting & Pressing Station, 12x18, Black: Compact and Versatile Solution for Quilting and Sewing by Hannah Curi

Very nice but bigger than expected.

The product measurements given are correct: 13x19. However, this is a closed or "folded" size. I mistakenly thought it was an open "working size". So I was expecting something a lot less than what I got. Cutting mat 12x18. The ironing pad is also 12x18. When this thing is open it measures 19 x 26 inches. Just make sure you have room for something that size. It closes with Velcro and has a practical carrying handle. Would be great to take to class. But it's actually too big for me to use next to a sewing machine, which would be nice. However, I like it and may order the smaller 8x11 as well. Update: I've only had this item for a week and I'm so in love with it! There's no room on my desk, so I just toss it on the bed and cut the fabric without pulling out a big, heavy rug, or iron the fabric without pulling out the ironing board. cool What a time saver. The ironing pad is sturdy so the iron won't wobble and thick enough that you don't have to worry about the hot iron damaging the bed/table/floor it's on. It folds up and doesn't take up space when I'm not using it. I don't want to miss this thing anymore! (I bought a small mini Sunbeam Hot 2 Trot iron to use. Together they've made my life so much easier!) Now I'm going to make a case for them.
