When the brush went on sale, the bristles were bunched up, which bothered me. I left it on my desk for a day and eventually the bristles opened up and looked like a normal brush. I suspect some of the bristles were bent from the packaging, but I didn't really care. I used a brush with all purpose cleaner on my car carpet to get the stain out. The bristles were soft but strong enough to get the stain out. A few bristles fell out even though I didn't brush them hard which is why I gave this brush 4 stars.
