They make great bowls. They are durable and appear to be well made. As _magnetic_ shells, they leave a lot to be desired. I have a set of three mugs. The smallest bowl has a very good, strong magnet. The largest bowl has a passable magnet, but the magnetic field isn't very strong anywhere except right in the center. A medium-sized bowl is practically useless. No noticeable magnetic field. So I guess you get what you pay for. No terrible shells, but hit or miss the magnets.
