Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!

The ideal processor at that cost. You might, for instance, create a completely powerful and affordable computer as a gift based on this chip. I must emphasize up front that you need to get everything in accordance with the level; for example, taking a GTX Titan to it would be foolish, but you don't need to take plugs either; some HD6670 will do. The processor performs incredibly well in practically all games, with at least 60 frames per second. However, the processor simply cannot handle games that require more than two cores. For instance, in GTA IV, for a very long time I did not understand why the frame rate slowed down so much in comparison to other games. In programs, 4 cores double the speed of video conversion. The processor also performs well when overclocked; I was able to push my copy all the way to 4 GHz. However, stable operation requires effective cooling.

Pros
  • Price, effectiveness, and overclocking
Cons
  • No L3 cache and few cores
