Not as expected after troubleshooting

Card installs as easily as you'd expect, but since I bought it a few months ago I've had connectivity and speed issues fixed from day one. I'm getting much slower than advertised or expected and the card was dropping connections on my old Linksys router until I tuned the 5GHz channel to a higher channel number (despite minimal signaling traffic across the band). After upgrading my AP's hardware to a Ubiquity device, speeds remain very slow even though I'm physically about 15 feet from the AP, in an open space with a sofa and table in between. The included antenna (in my case the main antenna according to the PCB label) greatly improved stability and speed, but the speed is still between 100 and 110 megabits (not bytes) when tested with a wired client using iperf3 on my LAN becomes. I'm starting to think that my card or antenna is defective or that this card is of rather poor quality overall. I used both the drivers from the CD that came with it and drivers direct from Intel for the chipset that this card comes with as a . I tried several apps. I even tried several operating systems and all of them didn't even exceed 150 megabits of speed on my local network. For comparison, my cellphone running the same 10-second iperf3 test on the same wired device gets an average of 200 megabits. per second speed from the same table behind which there is a computer. At this point I'm torn as to what to do. I don't want to play and buy a second one just to test the theory that I have a bad card, but I'm embarrassed that most of the reviews for this card are very positive. As of this writing, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for more than the simplest "well, it's connected" wireless experience. If the seller wants to get in touch I'm happy to talk to them about what I've tried and what I could improve.
