These are essentially replicas of the Audio-Technica ATH-M30x headphones. However, this does not mean that they are garbage. In fact, the sound quality is surprisingly good, especially when playing back speech. Extremely high and low frequencies can sound a bit weak or muddy, but most users probably won't notice that much of a difference. Perhaps the most important detail: right now, the ATH-M30x headphones are selling for *less than half the price*. You will hardly find better value for money than this set. Some other thoughts + Very comfortable and light weight, although I think I'll replace the ear pads with something softer than the standard ear pads. + The headband is very flexible and the overall build quality feels solid. + Noise leaks like you won't believe. In the upper volume range, you could almost use them as mini speakers (really bad, but still audible). I don't think they are ideal for long plane trips. It's always better to have too much than too little, but 9ft of cable is absurd. Who needs that much? All in all a very attractive set with some weaknesses.
