The third pot we had is essentially a version of this. Same features, just changes from year to year. They're not that expensive, but sometimes they don't last long. For example a year. Two years maximum. But we love how they make coffee and we love the features. Features: brewing time. I add soil and water every night and set it to start automatically at 5:30 every morning. Warning and "self-cleaning" function as well as automatic switch-off after two hours. Beeps when coffee is brewed and two hours later when it turns off. It has an illuminated dial. BE CAREFUL! There are models like this that Mr. Coffee did NOT want with a backlit clock. We got one of these once and it's basically useless unless you want to use the clock or the auto brew function. You cannot see the installation even if you don't use a flashlight. I think I actually called Mr. Coffee before ordering this model to make sure it had a backlit clock. UPDATE: I was completely satisfied with this coffee maker but it no longer works exactly one year after receiving it! I ordered it on May 8th, 2013. Received May 9th. Today is May 9th 2014 and this morning he is dead. Mr. Coffee called and they are in the process of deciding if they will cover it under warranty but if they do they said they no longer make this model and the replacement they will send will be a similar model but. NO LIGHTING It seems that making a regular and reliable coffee maker is as difficult as making one that toasts bread evenly on both sides!
