Whenever I walk our two 100#+ retrievers, they pull like crazy, even though they know they're not supposed to. When only walking one at a time, they are each well-behaved, but for some reason, when these young brothers are together they forget themselves and act like maniacs at times. This collar reminds the dog to behave and whenever he feels the desire to pull, it gives him a pinch and he immediately slows down. No need to yank on the leash. I'm hoping to need it less as the dogs mature a little more. Will probably still use it just to insure against unexpected attractions like when a chihuahua or other type of cat darts out in front of us.
