I LOVE this mop. I read that several people had a problem with telescoping and when I got mine I had the same problem. Then I understood. You need to hold the SILVER part behind the blue staff with one hand and the BLUE staff with the other hand and then rotate. I've tried twisting the "collar" on the end of the blue rod and I bet others have done the same. Collar and stick - one piece! Anyway, I love the mop. It's a lot easier and faster than the old way I washed the floor. It glides smoothly across the floor and the pad is so easy to rinse under running water and wring out as often as needed. It's perfect for my bathrooms and small spaces.
