I bought the Space Gray version to work with my 2016 15" Macbook Pro with Touch Bar. The device connected perfectly with all 4 ports and worked without any problems. I could confirm found the HDMI output to work on a 70" Vizio 4K TV. The TV recognized the input immediately and I was able to work smoothly in both 1080p and 2160p (30Hz) modes. My USB devices seemed to work well with the device and the transfer speeds were as good as any other adapter. Overall I'm very happy with its solid build and feel. I'm not using it as a desktop replacement or docking solution. This is only if I when I'm on the go and need a USB extension, or when I'm in a conference room and need to connect my Macbook Pro to a big screen, it does what I expect it to do. I really wish there was more current flowing through it to allow the Macbook Pro to charge at full speed, but for that I have additional ports (possibly upgraded to a 2160p 60Hz refresh version with 85W charging support in the near future). I also wish there was something as simple as velcro to keep the cable on the side of the adapter when not in use. I used a velcro cable tie to fix this. Pros: * Rugged construction * Worked with OS X Sierra on a Macbook Pro with no issues * Lightweight and fits perfectly in a laptop bag * No drivers to boot into OS X (just works) Cons: * No built-in way to save connected cables for non-use * No SD card slot
