Ripped the paint off the wall

This is a great concept, but it just doesn't hold up to puppy pressure. After a few days on the wall my 15 week old pup finally tried to pry open the door with his paws and the adhesive came off the wall along with some bits of paint. I'm not sure if there was a curing time for the glue as the instructions were limited, but I waited 48 hours before installing the lock to give it time to dry. I just think it can't withstand the force. Disappointed as it's a good idea in theory and less intrusive than a goal.
