Pretty good on all features, just sounds

Based on my specific criteria of getting my girlfriend the perfect noisemaker, this was pretty much perfect. It has a subtle colored LED night light, lots of white/brown/pink sounds, a digital clock and an alarm clock. Few other variants have captured all of these features in an aesthetically pleasing way. It's small for travel, although the cord could be longer. The alarm sound has an option for morning birdsong, which is a nice way to wake up. LEDs could use more colors/variety but we like purple and will leave it at that. The digital clock is good and the brightness can be adjusted. The speaker is of sufficient quality at high volume to fill a room without sounding too muffled. However, half of these sounds are garbage. All waves sound like extremely low quality, low bitrate waves someone pirated from YouTube and compressed multiple times. They're awful and uncomfortable, which is really disappointing because my girlfriend's favorite sound is the sound of a wave. There are several possibilities and they all sound awful, but the rippling of streams/rivers is insanely clear, so that's the only viable sound of water, although it doesn't replace the waves. It also shows that the problem is with the audio file and not the speaker. Fortunately, there are many variations of "white" noise, such as B. brown noise and pink noise. We just use them and forget the lost potential of wave sounds.
