When the angel arrived, it was loosely packed in a box with no padding. Still it came out looking beautiful, I was so looking forward to lighting it up. It is solidly made and a bit too heavy to use on our tree but I had a spot on the mantlepiece picked out for it. My husband commented on how much he liked the battery case because it is sturdy and has good connections but that is as far as we can go with it. The bottom line is that is does not light up. It may be a broken wire, we don't know. But whatever is wrong, we've never had a chance to see it lit up. It is a pretty decoration even without the lights, but very disappointing.
