The cons: I usually wear a size 8, but I'm glad I ordered a size 9 in this boot. I would suggest ordering a size larger, as the 9 is snug. The ankle portion / cuff is SUPER tight and I had a hard time getting the boots on. I'm hoping that it will loosen up as I wear the boots, but right now it's like wearing a tourniquet around both my ankles - not cutting off circulation, but definitely cutting into the skin. It is uncomfortable, and the elastic doesn't have a lot of give. If you have thicker ankles and calves, be prepared.The pros: I wore these today during the rain and was able to sploosh through puddles with no leaking. The shoe itself is comfortable and sturdy. Because of the tight fit around the ankles and lower calf, I am assured that the boot will not slip or come off my feet.
