Survival and Utility Gadget

This is a great tool for camping and "just in case" scenarios. I was without power due to a terrible storm in Texas in February 2021 and damn I wish I had that and a battery pack when I was filling my whole house with smoke from my fireplace, eating hot dogs on flatbread and getting bored of using it a bit too much battery in 30 degree weather in my house. I ended up with a battery (Jackery Explorer 240 Portable Power Station) so I tested it because I wanted to make sure the solar panels could charge the battery. Yes, it loads really well. It has 4 attachments so I was able to get the one I needed for my jackety and it was done. Went from 48% to 61% in 1.5 hours when I noticed it was completely in the shade and only getting 1W of power. :/ My mistake is that I placed it where the sun wouldn't catch it, but still good results. Jackery once said he gets 42 watts of power. I was pleased! I did a direct competition with Jackery 60W solar panel with my wife's phone against mine on this panel and mine won with this panel! Excited and surprised again as Jackery is a well known brand and I went with the one I found easy with a battery and recommended just because of the brand name. Let's talk construction and design: It's really light. Black nylon material, with port pocket and integrated lanyard. There is velcro to hold the two sides together when folded, but the fluff works really well. Two nylon handles with rubber grips. The back has nylon coated coasters on either side of the panels and a zip pocket with built in cable and USB-A and USB-C red light holes which I think tells you it gets sun/power. The only small gap I see in the design is that with the stands installed you don't see the red light and the USB ports face down making it tricky to plug in at times. Even if it's little things. Overall I am very happy with the solar panels and recommend having them on hand 100%. Definite PURCHASE.
