Doubtful - Inverter
I am currently camping with about 50 other campers at a campground in Idaho. While the AC was running in our RV (30 amp system) the surge protector kept cutting our power, trying to restart and after a long cycle of cycling we called the folks running the campground. We disconnected the surge protector from the panel and solved the problem. Upon inspection, one of the three copper terminals became hot, discolored, and slightly melted the plastic at the base. I don't understand electrical systems so I can't say why this happened.
